Now a six year old, is the reason

2 1/2 yr. old pre-schooler takes soap to school for show and tell

While visiting my Aunt in Seattle, Washington, she introduced me to the homemade soap making process. Being a person who liked to try different crafts, I tried and fell in love with it.

Our Granddaughter, Rebecca, started to call me MeMe when she was just learning to talk and that is what I have been ever since. Hence the name MeMe Miller's Homemade soaps.

When Rebecca was a 2 1/2 year old pre-schooler, she would take soap to school for show and tell. She loves to help make soap, and has her favorites. Of course I do not let her near when the sodium hydroxide is being mixed. She helps to stir and cut the soaps and she just loves to make Bath Bombs to put in her bath water. She creates her own scents, colors and shapes. She will be a "soaper" when she gets older.

She has a new cousin Hannah Grace who will get introduced into the soap making art when she gets a little older.
